Rihanna is doing her best to put the rumors of her reignited romance with Chris Brown to rest. While the ‘You Da One‘ singer hasn’t addressed the whispers directly, she took to Twitter with some pointed, well-timed messages about infidelity.

RiRi retweeted a message from a fan, posting, “RT @WizKhalllifa: #TheresNoReason to cheat, there never is. If you’re not happy with the relationship then don’t be a coward, just end it.” When a fan pointed out that the tweet wasn’t from the actual Wiz Khalifa, Rihanna responded, “I know, just liked that tweet!”

Rihanna’s appreciation for the tweet is likely at least in part due to rumors that she’s been the “other woman” in a love triangle between herself, Breezy and his current girlfriend, model Karrueche Tran. The latest rumors claim Rihanna and Brown have been meeting in secret for over a year behind Tran’s back. Brown’s rep denied the claims, while Rihanna’s rep declined to comment on them at all.

On the other hand, Rihanna may be responding to something else entirely. She was recently listed at No. 2 on a list of celebrities men would most like to cheat on their wives with. Or maybe she was being honest when she said she just liked that tweet.

Rihanna gears up for plush NYE gig

Rihanna has been enjoying some rest and relaxation before a luxury New Year’s Eve concert in her native Barbados.

The We Found Love singer is joining boyband The Wanted for a posh bash on the island’s exclusive Sandy Lane resort after the end of her hectic six-month run of gigs.

The star was snapped having fun on the beach before Saturday’s performance, and has also reportedly been living it up at a number of parties in Barbados.

A source told The Sun: “Rihanna went to a fish restaurant first where she sank a few drinks and bought seafood for a hundred or so punters there. Then she went to a ‘lime on the hill’ where people gather and dance to sound systems.”

Meanwhile, The Wanted have also been soaking up the Bajan sun.

Band member Nathan Sykes posted a snap of the sea on Twitter and wrote: “Take it you all now know why we don’t want to leave Barbados? Haha.”

It is a strange sensation to attend a concert and find yourself sitting a few rows behind David and Samantha Cameron. It happened to me recently at Gillian Welch's show in London: alongside the shock of discovering I had similar music tastes to the prime minister, it was startling to see Dave and Sam seated with only a discreet security presence, and filing out at the end rather than disappearing before the encores.

In the same way that the photograph of a grinning Tony Blair chatting to Noel Gallagher embodied the 90s era of Cool Britannia, so seeing David Cameron dressed in sober casuals and seated in the stalls listening to Welch singing Hard Times seemed to capture this year's mood – a year when the chill of economic austerity drove celebrities to adopt the pose of normality.

The most popular way to show common cause with hoi polloi was to use public transport, and this year commuters were spoilt for choice between gawping at the Queen taking the First Capital Connect service from London King's Cross to Norfolk, staring at Rihanna as she turned up to her own gig at the O2 arena on the Jubilee line, or, if you were less fortunate, sitting on the night bus that Top Shop heiress Chloe Green boarded to return home.

The intention may have been to suggest that if you take away the crown jewels, the predilection for raunchy lyrics and the billion pound inheritance, then the Queen, Rihanna and Chloe are much like the rest of us. The effect is the precise opposite. When I take the bus I don't, as a rule, excitedly tweet about it – as Green did – and I am rarely accompanied, as she was, by a "showbiz blogger". The images of star-struck fans huddling close to Rihanna on the tube similarly reminded us how different, rather than how similar, she was from those who fund her lifestyle. "She was just like any other passenger, except accompanied by a huge entourage," one fellow traveller was reported as saying.

What I find most objectionable about this celebrity austerity is that it is so nakedly PR driven, so shamelessly contrived, and that we are expected to fall for it. As if seeing a photograph of Kate Middleton doing the Waitrose run is meant to convince us that she too is worrying about whether to fire up the central heating or slip a jumper on. As if reading Gwyneth Paltrow claim that "I'm just like any other regular mum; cooking, cleaning, wiping butts, picking up after kids, being a wife and helping the kids with their homework" is anything other than hogwash and borderline offensive.

There was a reminder of an earlier, more honest era of celebrity in the sale of Elizabeth Taylor's jewellery earlier this month, which raised more than $100m. In the 60s Liz and Richard Burton would fly to Jamaica by private helicopter for the weekend to attend hedonistic star-filled parties; this year Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie visited the Richmond branch of Halfords. Stars like Taylor didn't even pretend to be ordinary, but in austere times flaunting one's wealth, gems and nannies endangers losing the public goodwill that created the wealth in the first place – hence the ostentatious displays of ordinariness.

The irony is that this year also presented many more opportunities for ordinary people to indulge in the very lifestyle from which the stars were attempting to distance themselves. Rihanna may have rocked up to her gig by tube, but the X Factor finalists rolled up in stretch limousines for their public appearances; David Beckham was photographed tucking into pie and mash, but shows like Geordie Shore, Desperate Scousewives and The Only Way Is Essex offered the over-tanned and under-talented a chance to dress to the nines and get on the VIP list for Chinawhite.

The success of such shows suggests that the lure of the good life, of money and its comforts, is as strong as ever. But in a time of mass youth unemployment and widespread economic unease, the world of the rich and famous feels more distant than ever. While the truly desperate resort to desperate measures, be it rioting or sporting a vajazzle, the rest of us look at those with big houses, luxury cars and holidays on private islands and conclude that this age of celebrity austerity is less about societal empathy, and more about personal insecurity. In their desperation to affect normality, the rich, powerful and famous merely convince us of the falsehood that we are all in this together.

With recent news that ex-boyfriend Chris Brown just bought a new bachelor crib a few miles away, Rihanna is suing the previous owners of her Beverly Crest home and is now being forced to sell the estate for millions below the price she paid for it.

According to reports, the previous owners remodeled the home in 2007 and 2008, but the house has become seriously leaky and waterlogged after a “moderate rainstorm” in 2010. The singer paid $6.9 million for the house in 2009.

But with all the complications and whatever other reasons, the singer has place her house up for sale, asking $4.5 million, according to LA Curbed.

The MLS-listed home’s description reads:

“Home is a MAJOR fixer with EXTENSIVE water intrusion from (but not limited to) roof, windows, doors and balconies. There is EXTENSIVE destruction from moisture AND water intrusion. Also encroachment issues and other problems. The home is being sold exactingly AS-IS and will be subject to a fleeting-sale.”

The house has eight bedrooms, 10 bathrooms and a pool.

Rihanna has been slammed by fans for the second time after arriving an hour late on stage for show at London's O2 last night (December 1)

The singer made her fans wait an hour at London's O2 arena and was booed when she finally took to the stage, as part of her current 'Loud' tour.

A fan told Digital Spy: ''She didn't come on till 10, leaving the audience waiting an hour. She then got booed and her singing was rubbish.

"The show was unecessarily raunchy and inappropriate. When we left halfway through the show, along with loads of other people, staff were handing out information on making complaints."

Rihanna is currently partway through a record-breaking ten headline dates at the O2 venue.

Meanwhile, 'Talk That Talk' is Rihanna's follow-up to 2010's 'Loud' was released last month.

The album includes the singer's current number one single 'We Found Love', which features Calvin Harris.

She often takes to the stage in raunchy outfits and fishnet stockings. But for her debut fashion collection, Rihanna has gone for a more modest look. The 23-year-old designed a capsule collection for Emporio Armani including lingerie, jeans and t-shirts. The collection includes two T-shirts, two pairs of jeans, a black leather biker jacket and a bag.

One of the T-shirts feature an emblem that combines Rihanna's 'R' logo with the Emporio Armani eagle. The other, in a looser fit, features the outline of the singer's face over an animal print background. The same mottled effect is repeated on the bucket-backpack in canvas with eco leather trim and pendant charm in branded metal.

The jeans are available in two cuts, skinny or Rihanna's favourite – a ‘boyfriend’ style but with a tight leg. Both come in blue stretch and washed black denim. To complete the look, the bandana belt the singer loves to wear on occasions as a hair band. The underwear is ultra feminine, for everyday wear and very reasonably priced. The lace sets are available in two colours – cobalt blue and pearl grey. Lightweight brasieres or more constructed bras sculpt the body perfectly.

To team with thongs, briefs and camisoles also come in microfibre and lace. ‘Rihanna for Emporio Armani’ is scripted on the straps and a small cameo of her face, the label and embossed logo feature on the fastening at the back. The line will available in shops worldwide from the middle of November. Rihanna was announced as the global new face of Emporio Armani Underwear and Armani Jeans back in July. Rihanna's Rebelle fragrance

The singer launched her first perfume Reb'l Fleur earlier this year and asked her fans to vote on the name of her new fragrance in a poll on her website in which 68% chose Rebelle.

The new scent – which has been "built off the sexy back of Reb'l Fleur" – will go on sale in December.

Rebelle will be packaged in a variation of the original bottle.

Fred Purches, chairman and chief executive officer of Parlux Fragrances Inc – which has been working on the perfumes with Rihanna – said the company is also planning on eventually launching a men's scent with the singer.

Rihanna has previously revealed Reb'l Fleur was a reference to a nickname her grandmother gave her when she was growing up in Barbados, and she has also had it tattooed on her.

The We Found Love hitmaker has long been known to mix different existing perfumes to create her own signature scent and said she wanted her own perfume to reflect the her roots in Barbados as well as her life in New York and Los Angeles.

Were she willing to tip her hand a little earlier, Rihanna might have considered kicking off her new album, Talk That Talk, with Watch n’ Learn, which appears near the end of the 11-song release and best captures the Barbados-born singer’s most prominent obsession.On it, Rihanna, who over the last few years has risen to be one of the most successful pop artists in the world, outlines the myriad ways in which she’ll have her way with a lover.

On the bed, on the couch, on the floor, till you’re making faces, till you can’t take it no more, slow, until her lipstick ain’t up on her face no more. Rihanna reels off her carnal intentions with an impressive though not entirely believable candour.

The 23-year-old star, who’s been gliding toward the edges of pop propriety since her first hit in 2005, has progressively pushed toward NC-17 territory, moving from the insinuation of Umbrella to the naughtier Hard and the Caribbean-flavoured murder ballad Man Down, from 2010’s Loud. The parental warning stickers have done wonders for her career, but the sauciness sometimes borders on shtick.

That said, Talk That Talk is not entirely sex-obsessed. For balance’s sake, and because she’s making music in the pop realm and beholden to relatively conservative mores, Rihanna on Talk That Talk also harnesses her producers and songwriters — including Dr. Luke, StarGate, Alex Da Kid, The-Dream and others — to focus love above the waist and how passion affects both the body and the mind. Throughout, she plays on the idea that we all want the same thing out of life — to be “drunk on love” (as she sings in a song of the same name).

She eases into her bed over the course of the album, first with a loving confession — You Da One, a Dr. Luke-produced jam with a hint of Jamaican roots reggae and a punchy synthetic rhythm — then with wandering desire and heartbroken regret. There are odes to bad love (We Found Love), and universal love (We All Want Love). Drunk on Love, which samples the XX’s slow-burn Intro, finds Rihanna confessing that love is the only thing she needs.

She delivers her sentiments inside a pan-American pop sound with a hint of the long musical conversation between the Caribbean and Americas. It’s a stylistic accent that she’s carried with her from Barbados, though she employs it with her collaborators enough to suggest her lineage without alienating Middle America. She can slip into a convincing patois when so inclined but seldom does so on Talk That Talk.

Rather, Rihanna wants her music to bang, and she does so by continuing to mine the connection between R&B, hip-hop and house. A few of these tracks, most obviously We Found Love, her collaboration with Scottish producer Calvin Harris, and Where Have You Been, wouldn’t be out of place at Electric Daisy Carnival.

Even the slower songs feature double-snare riddims that suggest energy, even when paced down; overall, the bass is heavier, the sounds are nastier, and by the second half of the record, Rihanna’s intentions are decidedly, unapologetically .... hornier. Call it Technotronic on steroids, Lady Gaga on Viagra, Millie Jackson on ecstasy: These are pumped-up hits aimed at the pelvic region.

But ultimately, Rihanna is making only superficially dangerous music. Without the prompting of her videos, even the bawdiest lyrics are kept within the realm of average American propriety. Yes, there’s some breast and booty, but Bo Carter was way raunchier in the 1930s with It’s Done Got Wet and Pin in Your Cushion than Rihanna is in 2011 with Cockiness (Love It) and Birthday Cake, both featuring lyrics that wouldn’t seem out of place on Spinal Tap’s Smell the Glove. (“... cake, cake, cake, cake, cake, cake, cake/ I know you wanna bite this.”)

For all the innuendo and introspection, Talk That Talk contains little sweat, slobber or fluids and a lot of plasticized, inflatable insinuation. (Recall her song S&M, which name-checked whips and chains without ever having to use the words sadism or masochism.)

The hottest lines on the album come nearly as an afterthought on the all-too-brief Birthday Cake, produced by The-Dream. “I know you wanna bite this/ It’s so enticin’/ Nothin’ else like this/ I’mma make you my bitch,” she sings. But as if the network censors had let the song run before realizing their mistake, a little over a minute into it the music fades out, just as it’s getting dirty, leaving us wondering whether Rihanna really believes what she’s selling on Talk That Talk.

Rihanna Drops ‘Talk That Talk’ Single

Jay-Z signed Rihanna to Def Jam Records back in 2005, and six years later the Barbadian beauty is gearing up to release her sixth solo album. The 23-year-ancient has collaborated with her mentor only a few era earlier, on the hit singles “Umbrella” and “Run This Town." Rihanna's newest pairing with Jay is on the title track for her sixth album Talk That Talk.

Produced by Norwegian production and songwriting duo Stargate (the pair responsible for Wiz Khalifa’s “Black And Yellow") the song opens with a Jay-Z verse as Rihanna plays the social class for just a spell. Hov goes into full braggadocio mode with the lines “I talk huge money, I talk huge homes/I sell out arenas, I call that getting dome/Million dollar voice, came through phone/We heading to the top If you appearance, come on” – making way for Rihanna’s chorus and confident lyrics.

Last Monday night (November 7) Rihanna confirmed the Jay-Z feature from her Twitter account. The Roc Nation CEO is the only feature on the album besides Calvin Harris. Talk That Talk will be released on November 21.

It's very rare that fans get a behind-the-scenes glimpse at their idols, many of whom prefer to keep their personal life private.

But Rihanna fans were in for a treat today when the pop star posted a selection of intimate snaps from her recent break from her world tour.

The 23-year-old put the photos on her Facebook page which showed her relaxing with some of her close girlfriends on board a yacht off the coast of Italy.

Wearing a pink bikini, the star poses on deck before larking about with one of her friends as she lets her hair down.

The pictures were taken this summer, possibly during the three-week break in her Loud Tour after finishing in England having played the V Festival, and making her way to South America.

And it looked as though she was really getting into the swing of her time off as she and her friends took over the luxury yacht and went off to explore the coastal towns of southern Italy.

Rihanna brought along her very close bunch of pals for the girlie break and even with no men on board they still looked as though they were having a very fun time of it as they fooled around striking at times some very naughty poses.

Rihanna lists Bev Hills home at $4.5 million

Pop star Rihanna has listed a Beverly Hills Post Office-area home at $4.5 million, substantially less than the $6.9 million she paid two years ago.

The listing describes the house as a "major fixer" with "extensive damage from moisture and water intrusion" at the roof, windows, doors and balconies. The property will not qualify for bank financing, according to the listing, so potential buyers will need cash, a contractor and perhaps an umbrella, to borrow the title of one of Rihanna's early hits.

The 8,520-square-foot, three-story contemporary includes a den, media room, breakfast area, three fireplaces, eight bedrooms and 10 bathrooms. The gated estate sits on more than three-quarters of an acre with a swimming pool.

The singer-songwriter is a four-time Grammy Award winner. At 23 she is already one of the world's top-selling recording artists. Her sixth studio album, "Talk That Talk," is due out this month.

In an exclusive interview, 27-year-old Negus Sealy told how the S&M beauty considers him a close friend – but nothing more.

'I am so lucky to have spent so much time with her and will always consider her to be a closer personal friend.

'I value her so much because she has been pretty much been straight up and real with me from the beginning.

Speaking over a locally brewed Banks beer, Negus told how he first met Rihanna at a party when she was 15 and they instantly hit it off.

Rihanna's 'We Found Love' Makes Hot 100 History

Rihanna may have pushed the boundaries with her video for "We Found Love," but thanks to that song, she's now pushed her way into the history books — and passed a pair of all-time greats in the process.

"Love" just completed its climb to the top of the Billboard Hot 100, giving Rihanna her 11th #1 hit, which puts her one ahead of Stevie Wonder and Janet Jackson.

With her latest chart-topper, she's now tied with Whitney Houston and is within reach of equaling Madonna and the Supremes' career total of 12 #1's. If — or, more likely, when — she gets her 12th, she'll trail only Michael Jackson (13 #1's), Elvis Presley (17), Mariah Carey (18) and the Beatles (20) on the all-time list. Rare company, indeed.

And just as impressive is how quickly she's accomplished all this. Earlier this month, when "Love" leapt from #16 to #9 on the Hot 100, RiRi made Billboard history by racking up 20 top 10's faster than any solo artist, doing it in just six years and four months. That bested a mark previously set by Madonna, who did it in six years and nine months and ranks Rihanna second to only the Beatles, who pulled off the feat in a staggering two years and seven months.

Rihanna is the 14th artist to ever earn 20 Hot 100 top 10's and is just the fifth woman to do it. Madonna leads everyone with 37 top 10's, followed by Carey and Jackson (27 each) and Whitney Houston, with 23.

Rapper Nicki Minaj has laughed off rumours that she and Rihanna are loved up in a lesbian tryst.

Minaj, 26, branded suggestions that she and the Umbrella singer were living together “insane”.

“I don’t know where people got this really insane, hilarious, random rumour that she and I were living together,” she told a US radio show.

“We had just shot the video for a song I have on the album called Fly. When I saw her the first thing I said was ‘So, did you hear we’re living together’.

Rihanna Finally Nabs Vogue Cover?

Rihanna just might be the May covergirl for Vogue, The Cut reports. On Wednesday the songstress Tweeted, "Just wrapped my first American Vogue cover shoot with Annie Leibovitz ... Rah! #SEXY." However, a few hours later the Tweet had been taken down.

Riri reportedly lost her chance to pose for the glossy in 2009 after her nude photos surfaced. At the time,

(NEW YORK) -- Rihanna is now the "Only Girl (In the World)" to score four number ones in a single calendar year. Her song of the same name has just risen to number one on the Billboard Hot 100 -- making her the only female artist ever to take four trips to the top in one year.

In addition, "Only Girl" becomes Rihanna's ninth number one hit overall. She's now scored the most number ones of any artist since the year 2000.

Additionally, this marks the first time in the history of the Hot 100 that an album's lead single has hit number one after the second single has already done so. Rihanna's "What's My Name" overtook "Only Girl" to land the top spot a couple weeks ago.

Meanwhile, Rihanna's new CD Loud enters the Billboard chart at number three, with first-week sales of 207,000 copies, according to Nielsen Soundscan. That's the most any of her albums have sold in a single week. Loud is Rihanna's fifth top 10 album -- all her previous albums have reached the top 10, as well.

I don’t understand how fans will take offense to seeing Rihanna dressed sexy, considering that this has been her selling point from almost day one – sans ‘Pon De Relay’. Rihanna has always been known to be a young woman confident in her sexuality. In fact, she thrives off it.

If anything, she was at her sexiest during ‘Rated R’ and it was also greatly showcased during ‘Good Girl Gone Bad’. What’s so different about 2010?
